Cesam Arabians is a small Arab stud in the South of Sweden, breeding high quality purebred Arab Horses. Cesam Arabians breed noble, graceful, beautiful and useful Allround Arab Horses for all-purpose-riding, breeding and showing with Classic Arabtype, powerful movements, charismatic refinement, and excellent conformation and with top quality pedigrees.

It all began in 1974 when I first got in contact with the beautiful Arab horse and was hit by ”Arabitis”, the unincureable ”disease”…… It was at the excellent Arab stud belonging to mr. Ivan Bengtsson, my mentor (previously the President of the Swedish Arab Horse Society, Registrar and currently in the board of the SAHR (Stiftelsen Arabiska Häst Registret). I have Ivan to thank for so much, because if it hadn’t been for him, I would never have been this involved with the Arab Horse. And of course my dear mother and father, to whom I owe so much…they have always stood by my side and helped me with everything I needed. Also my sweet sister Monica is a blessing.

In 1976 I got my first Arab, the magnifique bay gelding Cesam. He is my all and everything. He was among the gang of Arab horses that once started the Arab racing in Sweden in 1975. Sadly, as he had much anxiety and lost all his energy before the race, he was never an extremely successful racing horse. Instead he got home and was converted to English riding and was educated in dressage, as jumping fences (more than natural fences in the forests) was never his cup of tea. Due to his nervous temper I was, however, never able to compete with him. However he got quite far and did movements in MSV dressage.
Much ”blood, sweat and tears” have been shed during his education, but it has been worth it! There is so much joy and happiness with this wonderful Arab gelding... He is my dear sweetheart...

In 1982 I got my second Arab, the dark brown Arab colt Eridán. He was a dear colt and I showed him quite frequently from when he was a yearling till he was a 5-year-old stallion. He was always in the middle, being an average stallion. Approved for breeding, but only left one daughter (it was the tough 80’ies!!!). He was later sold to Terése Kristoferson-Andersson in Varberg and became a very successful show Jumper and also did well in dressage and cross-country. In 1991 he was named "Arab of the Year in Show Jumping". He is still owned by Terése.

In 1985 Eridán bred Casandra and she had Carrishmah in 1989. Casandra was with me from 1987 to 1991 and she was a sweet mare, but not very typy, hence not a show horse, but proved to be an excellent broodmare as well as riding mare. She got three pretty & talanted filly foals at Cesam Arabians - Carrishmah, Cas Imiraah (later sold to my sister) and Cherifaah Sohfii. She was sold in 1991 and got another filly foal with her new owner before being sold to Malmö Ridklubb, where she still is today as a much appreciated riding pony.

In 1987-1988 I also had Mammuschka on loan from a friend. She was in foal to my friend’s stallion Birat (Probat x Billbosa) and gave in 1988 birth to a bay colt, Mihdas Ben Birat. Mihdas was sold as a yearling and the last I heard from him was that he stands in Tommelilla, Skåne as a riding horse and gelded.

In 1989 Lobelia, "The Indian Horse" came here. "Indian Horse" as she has the longest mane ever seen and a beauty beyond your outmost dreams. She was then owned by my mentor, Ivan and was in foal to Nastapic DK (Bomarc US x Natura). She had a lovely colt in 1990, Lotznic, bred by Ivan and later sold to Ramonia Arabstuteri. Unfortunately he died in 1999.
Lobelia was bred to Bomarc US in 1990, and gave birth to Louizaah in 1991, a lovely filly with excellent type and conformation. Lobelia returned to Ivan in 1991, in foal to Emblemat PL. She had a beautiful filly foal, Lobina in 1992, who now is in Germany with her new owners Pia & Frank Hoeger. Lobelia was not bred again in 1992, but came back to me - permanently that same year. I had her bred to Bofors in 1993 and in 1994 she gave birth to the lovely Loreleih, who is now owned by Jennifer Jörgensson in Blekinge. Again Lobelia was not bred in 1994, but in 1995 she visited Falsyfikat PL and had a superb filly foal in 1996, Lofayaah.

Louizaah had her first foal in 1997, a sweet filly by Fynt - Loufianaah. Since then she has not been bred, neither have the other mares.

In February 2001 we obtained the beautiful Kuhailan-stallion Milagro PL from Ulla & Gunnar Boström, Stuteri Cavallo. Read more about him on his page!!!

In 2002 two most adorable and beautiful fillies was born... Laalee and Leotie. They are the first Milagro-foals at Cesam Arabians and they both are way beyond our expectations! So truly beautiful and so truly magnificent to handle and work with. In 2003 a third filly, also by Milagro, saw the light. Lateefaah is also way beyond our expectations, beautiful and eager to please.

In 2004 a fourth filly, also by Milagro, saw the light. Layishaah is also way beyond our expectations, beautiful and eager to please with lots of courage and she is also bay, big and bold!

In 2005 a fifth filly by Milagro was born here at Cesam Arabians. Lazizeeh, tremendously beautiful bay filly.

Yet again, in 2006, a sixth filly by Milagro was born here by us! Her name is Lohennaah, big, bold and bay. She will remain here at stud however in the ownership of my sister Monica, who will use her in the future in riding, showing and breeding.

No foals are expected here next year, sorry to say, as Lofayaah was not in foal. Nothing seems to be wrong, though she had a severe colic in January that might have put her physicals down a bit. We will try again in 2007, to breed both Lofayaah and Louizaah. Lobelia is retiring from the breeding box, hence Lohennaah is her last foal.

A small breeders dream would of course be the chance of having 1-2 foals per year, but as much as I wish to keep them all, I’m not able to do so. And having this in my mind, I also wish to sell the foals to reasonable prices to good homes. All horses at Cesam Arabians are of excellent quality with superb Arab type, great charisma, flashy movements, great conformation, riding ability and a joy for everyone!
