"Dareus was primarily sold at his mother's side when she was sold to the USA. However, the American buyer did not want this young colt foal, so he stayed in Sweden. He was a shy and sensitive boy. In 1983 he came to my sister Monica and she developed a sincere relationship with him and also gained his trust. Unfortunately she sold him later on in 1984/1985 due to other interests."
